The Live Production Campus Manager leads live production at one campus and serves as the single point of contact for worship, ministry, and live production there. The role owns technical execution for campus services and events—including audio, video, lighting, equipment, and the Serve Team responsible for operating them. It executes the churchwide technical standard rather than establishing a separate standard and maintains a dotted-line relationship to Central Live Production. The manager recruits, trains, schedules, retains, appreciates, leads, and disciples the campus live production Serve Team. The role coordinates with campus worship and ministry leaders, runs technical rehearsals and pre-service checks, and operates or directs the room during services. It supports services, churchwide events, funerals, weddings, conferences, and other special events as required by the ministry calendar. The position maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs campus audio, video, lighting, and control systems; performs preventative maintenance on a published cadence; keeps findings and system documentation, patch files, and show files current; and diagnoses first-line faults before escalating to the region’s Systems Engineer. It participates in training provided by Systems Engineers and maintains the agreed competence level. The manager also participates in centrally run projects and events, manages the campus live production budget and purchases within the approved threshold, and maintains working knowledge of event scheduling systems, policies, and processes. Other duties may be assigned. The employee is expected to support, recruit, and develop Serve Team members and serve alongside the broader team as ministry and organizational needs arise. Applicants must have a passion for Jesus and a strong biblical foundation, a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least five years of live production experience. A bachelor's degree or technical certification in audio, video, or lighting, and prior experience in a multisite church environment, are preferred. The employee must be or become a Gateway Church member upon employment. The position requires weekend and evening work and travel to other campuses as needed. Physical demands include extended sitting or standing, occasional kneeling or crouching, lifting and moving equipment up to 50 pounds, and working at heights on ladders or lifts.
