About The Position

Executive Home Care is seeking a top-notch, compassionate, and experienced Certified Home Health Aide (CHHA) to provide live-in care for a husband and wife in a private home. We are looking for a dependable caregiver who is bilingual in Spanish and English, has strong senior-care experience, and takes pride in providing respectful, attentive, and high-quality care.

Requirements

Active New Jersey CHHA certification required.
Fluent in Spanish and English – required.
Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nurses and healthcare professionals.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to caregiving.
Reliable, responsible, and professional.
Strong attention to detail, particularly when documenting client care.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
Comfortable providing care to two clients (husband and wife) in a live-in setting.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in home care, senior care, or private-duty caregiving preferred.
Experience with memory care and dementia care is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and other activities of daily living.
Assist with mobility, transfers, and safe movement around the home.
Provide medication reminders as directed.
Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes, concerns, or unusual observations to the nurse.
Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful and appropriate activities.
Support clients with their daily routines while promoting dignity, independence, and comfort.
Accurately document care provided and maintain required client records.
Follow care plans and instructions provided by nurses and other healthcare professionals.
