Live In Caregiver
About The Position
Masonicare at Home, Masonicare’s non-medical homecare agency, is hiring private caregivers and homemakers for live-in or hourly live-out work throughout Connecticut. Clients are based in Masonicare facilities and in the community. Hourly services require a three-hour minimum. Live-in caregivers earn $261 per day, and the posting also states a per-diem rate of $282 per day. The stated hourly pay range is $15.00–$16.00, with compensation determined relative to experience. Live-in caregivers provide one-on-one care for clients for varying periods, from a few days to several years. Assignments may support clients after hospital or rehabilitation discharge, during hospice or end-of-life care, with Alzheimer’s care and monitoring, or to help clients remain safe and independent at home or in assisted or independent living. The agency provides coverage and support 24/7. Time off is provided on request. Applicants with reliable transportation who are willing to learn will receive training.
