About The Position
Griswold Care Pairing is a non-medical home care registry that refers caregivers to live-in or hourly clients. The position serves seniors in the Pinehurst, North Carolina area and involves providing personal care, homemaking, and companionship. Caregivers are expected to treat clients and their property with dignity and respect. Compensation is $180–$190 per day for live-in work.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience caring for elderly individuals.
- Compassionate provider of personal care, homemaking, and companion services.
- Able to pass a national background check.
- At least 4 recent professional references.
- Cleared fitness-to-work assessment and TB test.
- Current First Aid and CPR.
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
- Valid auto insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide companionship and conversational engagement with clients.
- Perform light housekeeping and prepare meals.
- Provide medication and appointment reminders.
- Assist clients with grooming and bathing.
- Assist clients with toileting and incontinence issues.
- Provide Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
- Treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
- Complete a criminal background check.
