About The Position

Open Arms Solutions is seeking experienced live-in caregivers, CNAs, HHAs, and DSPs for senior home care assignments in Oak Brook, Riverside, and nearby communities. The role supports clients with complex care needs, including bedbound clients, in their homes. Caregivers provide hands-on personal care and daily living support, help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment, and monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions. The assignment involves live-in care and 12-hour shifts, and availability for the required schedule is essential.

Requirements

At least 1 year of professional caregiving experience.
Previous live-in caregiving experience.
Hands-on experience caring for bedbound clients.
Experience in senior care, home care, private duty, CNA, HHA, DSP, or a similar setting.
Comfort providing personal care and working independently in a client’s home.
Dependable, patient, and attentive to client needs.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Ability to complete required background screenings.
Availability for the required schedule.

Responsibilities

Provide hands-on personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
Assist with bedbound care, repositioning, and safe transfers as appropriate.
Support activities of daily living, comfort, and personal hygiene.
Prepare meals and assist with hydration.
Provide medication reminders and safety supervision.
Complete light housekeeping and laundry related to the client.
Monitor and report changes in the client’s condition.
Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable home environment.
