About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate and dependable live-in caregivers in Cheltenham Township, Pennsylvania, to support seniors in their homes. Caregivers help clients feel safe, comfortable, and supported while maintaining their dignity and independence. The role includes companionship, assistance with personal care and daily routines, meal preparation, medication reminders, light housekeeping, and following each client’s care plan. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• A compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Strong communication skills and a genuine interest in helping seniors.
• A recent, accepted TB test.
• Proof of vaccination.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and current auto insurance for positions where these are required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous CNA, HHA, PCA, or home care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and daily routines.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping and laundry to maintain a comfortable home.
• Support clients with daily activities and personal needs.
• Follow each client’s care plan and report changes in their condition to the office.
• Help clients maintain comfort, dignity, and independence.
