About The Position

Visiting Angels is seeking compassionate, patient, and dependable caregivers in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, to support seniors in their own homes. Caregivers help older adults maintain their dignity, independence, and comfort by providing companionship and assistance with personal care, mobility, daily living activities, meals, medication reminders, household tasks, errands, and transportation. They follow individualized care plans, encourage independence, and report changes in clients’ condition or well-being. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Compassionate, patient, reliable, and dependable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance.
• Must meet applicable company requirements.
• Must provide proof of vaccination.

Nice To Haves

• Previous caregiving, CNA, HHA, PCA, or home-care experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help clients with mobility, transfers, and daily living activities.
• Prepare meals and provide medication reminders.
• Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
• Help with errands and transportation as needed.
• Follow individualized care plans and encourage independence.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ condition or well-being.
