About The Position

Little Medical School® seeks enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable instructors to teach its STEM-certified curriculum to Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. Instructors bring medicine, science, and healthcare concepts to life through fun, hands-on, interactive lessons, manage classroom spaces, and inspire students to explore healthcare careers while maintaining a safe and supportive environment. Programs take place during the school day, in workshops, and after school, with flexible scheduling options. Training, lesson plans, supplies, and medical kits are provided.

Requirements

Must be 18 years or older.
Must have reliable transportation to pick up kit materials and travel to local school or facility sites.
Must be able to pass standard state and school district background clearances, including fingerprinting, for working with minors.
Ability to engage young audiences, manage classroom dynamics, and build positive relationships with schools and parents.
Punctuality, proactivity, and commitment to high safety and quality standards.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children through teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, youth sports, or other activities is preferred.
Passion for STEM education, teaching, health, and inspiring young people.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on health and science activities using official Little Medical School® lesson plans and materials.
Supervise students, manage classroom dynamics, and maintain a welcoming, youth-friendly environment that protects children’s safety and physical well-being.
Encourage students’ curiosity, confidence, and interest in science and medicine.
Pick up and return program supplies to the LMS coordinator and keep classroom spaces and teaching tools clean, organized, and disinfected.
Coordinate with site contacts, school coordinators, and LMS leadership, providing updates and feedback to support smooth delivery of activities.
