About The Position

Little Medical School® is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable instructors to teach its STEM-certified curriculum to Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. Instructors manage classroom spaces, deliver engaging hands-on lessons, spark interest in healthcare careers, and maintain a safe, supportive environment. Programs run during the school day, including morning sessions, in-school workshops, and after-school enrichment programs, with flexible scheduling options. Training, lesson plans, supplies, and medical kits are provided.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years old.
Have reliable transportation to pick up kit materials and travel to local school or facility sites.
Be able to pass standard state and school district background clearances and fingerprinting for working with minors.
Be punctual, proactive, dependable, and committed to high safety and quality standards.
Be able to engage young audiences, manage classroom dynamics, and build positive relationships with schools and parents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children through teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, youth sports, or other activities.
Passion for STEM education, teaching, health, and inspiring young minds.

Responsibilities

Lead fun, hands-on health and science activities using official Little Medical School® lesson plans and materials.
Supervise students, maintain a welcoming and youth-friendly environment, and ensure children's physical well-being and safety.
Encourage students in ways that foster curiosity, confidence, and a passion for science and medicine.
Pick up and return program supplies to the LMS coordinator, and keep classroom spaces and teaching tools clean, organized, and disinfected.
Coordinate with site contacts, school coordinators, and LMS leadership to provide updates and feedback and ensure seamless delivery of daily activities.
