About The Position

Little Medical School® is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable instructors to teach its STEM-certified curriculum to Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. Instructors bring medicine, science, and healthcare concepts to life through fun, hands-on, interactive lessons, while inspiring interest in healthcare careers and maintaining a safe, supportive environment.

Programs run throughout the school day, including morning sessions, in-school workshops, and after-school enrichment programs. Flexible scheduling options are available. The company provides training, lesson plans, supplies, and medical kits.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must have reliable transportation to pick up kit materials and travel to local school or facility sites.
• Must be able to pass standard state and school district background clearances and fingerprinting for working with minors.
• Must be punctual, proactive, dependable, and committed to high safety and quality standards.
• Must be able to engage young audiences, manage classroom dynamics, and build positive relationships with schools and parents.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with children through teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, youth sports, or other activities is preferred.
• Passion for STEM education, teaching, health, and inspiring young minds.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on health and science activities using official Little Medical School® lesson plans and materials.
• Supervise students, manage classroom spaces, and maintain a welcoming, youth-friendly environment that protects children's safety and well-being.
• Encourage students in ways that foster curiosity, confidence, and interest in science and medicine.
• Pick up and return program supplies to the LMS coordinator; keep classroom spaces and teaching tools clean, organized, and disinfected.
• Coordinate with site contacts, school coordinators, and LMS leadership, providing updates and feedback to support smooth delivery of daily activities.
