About The Position

Little Medical School® seeks enthusiastic, energetic, and dependable instructors to teach its STEM-certified curriculum to Pre-K, elementary, middle, and high school students. Instructors manage classroom spaces, deliver engaging, hands-on lessons, and encourage interest in healthcare careers while providing a safe and supportive environment. Programs run during the school day, including morning sessions, in-school workshops, and after-school enrichment programs, with flexible scheduling options. Training, lesson plans, supplies, and medical kits are provided.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old.
Must have reliable transportation to pick up kit materials and travel to local school or facility sites.
Must be able to pass standard state and school district background clearances and fingerprinting for working with minors.
Must be punctual, proactive, dependable, and committed to high safety and quality standards.
Must be able to engage young audiences, manage classroom dynamics, and build positive relationships with schools and parents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with children through teaching, tutoring, camp counseling, youth sports, or other activities is preferred.
Passion for STEM education, teaching, health, and inspiring young minds.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on health and science activities using official Little Medical School® lesson plans and materials.
Supervise students, manage classroom dynamics, and maintain a welcoming, youth-friendly environment that supports children's safety and physical well-being.
Encourage students' curiosity, confidence, and interest in science and medicine through positive mentorship.
Pick up and return program supplies to the LMS coordinator, and keep classroom spaces and teaching tools clean, organized, and disinfected.
Coordinate with site contacts, school coordinators, and LMS leadership, providing updates and feedback to support smooth program delivery.
