About The Position
The Litigation Paralegal supports attorneys in a Construction Practice Group and manages complex construction-related cases involving defect, delay, contract, and general liability matters. The position is permanent, full-time, and onsite in Jacksonville, Florida. The stated salary is $75,000–$85,000 annually. A bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate is preferred.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of litigation experience.
- Strong writing, organization, and case-management skills.
- Experience with e-filing and document review platforms.
- Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
Nice To Haves
- Construction experience is preferred.
- Insurance defense experience is preferred and will also be considered.
- A paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist with case management from intake through trial preparation.
- Draft and prepare discovery, subpoenas, summaries, and litigation support documents.
- Organize and review construction project records and discovery materials.
- Coordinate depositions, mediations, site inspections, and expert communications.
- Prepare exhibits, timelines, and trial materials.
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, and organized case files.
- E-file legal documents in state and federal court.
