About The Position

Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani is hiring an experienced Litigation Paralegal for its Phoenix office. The firm is a national, full-service Am Law 100 firm with offices in all 50 states and practices including professional negligence, commercial litigation, general liability, construction, insurance defense, and employment. The successful candidate will have at least three years of civil litigation experience in Arizona and be familiar with Arizona rules and procedures. Candidates are expected to perform assigned litigation support tasks with minimal instruction, including public-records background checks, online legal research, and document production. A paralegal certificate is preferred but not required; insurance defense experience is a plus.

Requirements

At least three years of civil litigation experience in Arizona, preferably in a law firm.
Familiarity with Arizona rules and procedures.
Ability to perform the listed tasks with minimal instruction.

Nice To Haves

Paralegal Certificate.
Previous experience with insurance defense.

Responsibilities

Conduct background checks using public records databases.
Use online resources such as Westlaw, Lexis, PACER, and court websites.
Prepare document productions, including converting various file types to PDF, redacting confidential information, and preparing privilege logs and chronologies.
