About The Position

Morgan & Morgan is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to work closely with attorneys and provide support before, during, and after trials. The role involves preparing and filing legal documents, supporting discovery and trial preparation, communicating with clients and legal stakeholders, and handling case-related administrative work. The position is on-site, allowing team members to work alongside colleagues and gain direct experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 2 years of litigation experience.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
• Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, procedures, and practices.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Extensive computer and database expertise, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Typing speed of at least 35 words per minute.

Nice To Haves

• Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience.
• Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program.
• Experience in personal injury, workers compensation, premises liability, or another injury-related practice area.

Responsibilities

• Prepare pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• E-file court documents in state and federal court.
• Communicate with clients, courts, counsel, and other parties.
• Conduct legal research and factual investigations.
• Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
• Draft and serve summonses.
• Coordinate and summarize depositions.
• Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and appellate documents with the court.
• Calendar hearings and deadlines, organize case files, and manage case logistics.
• Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
• Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
• Assist attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
• Gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
• Liaise between trial teams and internal and external third parties.
• Prepare witnesses.
• Assist with case settlements.
• Perform other tasks as requested by the attorney.
