About The Position

The Freelance Firm is a national network of experienced, high-level, freelance attorneys and paralegals who provide remote, on-demand support for both short-term and long-term legal projects for client law firms. Due to increased demand, we are now interviewing for a qualified, experienced, and dedicated Litigation Paralegal. Remote work hours will vary, but are expected to be approximately 10–20+ hours per week.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal
Strong experience with e-filing pleadings in state and/or federal courts
Experience scheduling depositions, mediations, and other litigation-related events
Ability to assist with all phases of discovery, including drafting, responding to, and organizing discovery
Strong understanding of court rules, procedures, and compliance with deadlines
Experience drafting pleadings and legal correspondence
Ability to conduct legal research and support attorneys with case strategy
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines
Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment
Self-starter who can take initiative and work independently
Proactive and professional communication skills

Responsibilities
