About The Position

FSA Federal is hiring a Litigation Financial Analyst to support the overall mission of the United States Attorney's Office (USAO). The role supports the Asset Forfeiture Section, which prosecutes criminal and civil actions against property used or acquired during illegal activity. The analyst assists the legal team by examining financial records and helps prosecutors prepare for court proceedings. The position requires U.S. citizenship and a 7- or 10-year minimum background investigation.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Three years of accounting, finance, or other related experience.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and other common software applications and databases.
Commitment and expertise in providing excellent customer service; a positive and flexible approach; and the ability to multitask.
Ability to work in a team environment, deliver high-quality work, and maintain a professional disposition under extreme pressure.
U.S. citizenship.
Ability to meet a 7- or 10-year minimum background investigation requirement.

Nice To Haves

CPA certification.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office applications and other common software applications and databases.

Responsibilities

Trace, review, and analyze financial records from investigations to determine the source and delivery of funds and the nature and volume of transactions.
Understand account relationships, follow criminal proceeds, and identify assets and funds that meet thresholds and legal requirements for forfeiture.
Assist prosecutors in preparing for court proceedings by developing legal theories for forfeiture and preparing exhibits, charts, and abstracts of financial evidence.
Perform other duties as assigned.
