About The Position

An established, multi-state real estate and creditors' rights law firm is seeking a qualified associate attorney to support its Kentucky practice. Requirements

  • Member in good standing of the Kentucky State Bar.
  • 5+ years of experience in real estate, civil litigation, and/or creditors’ right practice.
  • Proficiency in case management and reporting software.
  • Strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice and loss mitigation.
  • Knowledge of Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the creditors’ rights practice generally.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
  • Self-starter.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively utilize the Firm’s case management and reporting software to actively manage assigned matters.
  • Handle matters with a strong foundation in civil procedure, motions practice and loss mitigation.
  • Manage cases involving Title & Lien Priority, Title Claim, Foreclosure, Eviction, TILA, RESPA, FDCPA, and the creditors’ rights practice generally.
  • Attend court appearances.
  • Travel as required for court appearances and other legal matters.
  • Exhibit a commitment to superior client care and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with team members and mentor junior staff.
