About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Litigation Attorney licensed in Florida to join our expanding legal team. This role offers the opportunity to represent institutional clients in foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and related litigation matters while working alongside a collaborative group of legal professionals. The ideal candidate is a confident advocate who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys courtroom appearances, and can manage a high-volume caseload with strong attention to detail. Whether you bring direct creditors' rights experience or a strong commercial litigation background, we provide ongoing training and support to help you excel in our practice.

Requirements

  • Active Floria Bar license in good standing.
  • 3-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in commercial litigation, creditors' rights, foreclosure, bankruptcy, or related practice areas.
  • Experience handling contested hearings, motion practice, and courtroom appearances independently.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida civil procedure and evidentiary rules.
  • Excellent legal writing, research, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and professional judgment.
  • Exceptional client service and communication abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in foreclosure, mortgage servicing, creditors' rights, or default servicing litigation.
  • Familiarity with loss mitigation, consumer defense issues, and bankruptcy proceedings.

Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in foreclosure, eviction, bankruptcy, and other related proceedings throughout Illinois.
  • Appear in court for contested hearings, motions, mediations, and trials.
  • Draft, review, and execute pleadings, motions, affidavits, and other legal documents.
  • Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations on case matters.
  • Advise clients regarding litigation risks, procedural requirements, and case strategy.
  • Manage a high-volume caseload while ensuring compliance with court deadlines, client guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to achieve successful case outcomes.
  • Participate in special projects and additional legal initiatives as needed.
