About The Position

Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a talented Senior Litigation Attorney to join their award-winning team. This is a mid-sized, reputable, and forward-thinking law firm, recognized for its sixth consecutive year as a Best Law Firm® by U.S. News & World Report's Best Lawyers®. As an integral senior member of the litigation team, the attorney will be responsible for handling their own caseload of litigation matters involving commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims for a diverse range of clients, including individuals, businesses, and organizations. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team with the supportive backbone of a larger firm.

Requirements

  • 3 - 5+ years of experience as a litigation attorney handling general liability, construction, personal/catastrophic injury, contracts/business, and/or commercial disputes in a law firm environment.
  • Experienced in managing litigation cases independently from start to finish.
  • Exceptional communication and advocacy skills.
  • Client-focused mindset.
  • Passion for achieving successful outcomes.
  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Current admission to the State Bar of California.
  • Reside within 100 miles of our Walnut Creek, CA office (for fully remote candidates).

Responsibilities

  • Handling own caseload of litigation matters involving commercial, contract/business disputes, general liability, construction, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death claims.
