About The Position

Rubenstein Law is hiring a Litigation Attorney to litigate high-value personal injury cases in state and federal court. The attorney is responsible for all aspects of assigned cases, from filing through verdict, including pre-trial preparation, court appearances, motions, depositions, mediations, negotiations, and trial. Candidates should provide a document detailing jury trial experience and wins, including which trials they served as first chair. Total compensation is commensurate with experience.

Requirements

• License in good standing to practice law in Florida.
• 1–5 years of experience as a personal injury litigator.
• Ability to handle a large, active caseload from filing through verdict.
• Success providing direction and guidance to a team of staff.
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent negotiation skills.
• Analytical and research skills.
• Strong courtroom presence and eagerness to try cases.
• Provide a document detailing jury trial experience and wins, noting which trials were served as first chair.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients and file lawsuits.
• Propound and respond to written discovery.
• Schedule and attend fact witness depositions.
• Retain appropriate experts and attend expert depositions.
• Schedule and attend hearings.
• Prepare for and attend mediations.
• Prepare cases for trial and try cases to verdict.
• Prepare and file appropriate post-trial motions.
• Attend file audits, litigation attorney meetings, and trial clinics.
