About The Position
A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Defense-Side Litigation Attorney to join its litigation practice. This role involves representing institutional clients such as hospitals, healthcare providers, and employers across a range of litigation matters including health law, premises defense, and employment litigation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of post-JD litigation experience
- Experience in defense-side litigation
- Background in health law, premises defense, or employment litigation
- Strong courtroom and motion practice experience
- Ability to manage cases independently from pleadings through trial
- Active bar admission and good standing

Responsibilities
- Defend hospitals, healthcare providers, employers, and other institutional clients across all phases of litigation
- Manage a diverse caseload including health law, premises defense, and employment litigation matters
- Develop and execute litigation strategies in collaboration with partners and clients
- Draft and argue motions, take and defend depositions, and manage discovery processes
- Lead case management from intake through trial preparation
- Analyze complex legal and factual issues and provide clear guidance to clients
- Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and potentially first-chair trial roles
