About The Position

This role requires a skilled Linux Administrator with an active TS/SCI clearance and polygraph. The position involves ten (10) years of experience as a Systems Administrator (SA) in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity. A Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required, though five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted for the degree. The ideal candidate will possess strong Linux administration skills, including configuration, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Experience working with diverse teams, creating and implementing automation scripts (Bash, Python, Puppet, Ansible), and mentoring junior staff are essential. The ability to communicate effectively and a self-motivated attitude towards learning new technologies are also key requirements.

Requirements

  • Ten (10) years of experience as an SA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university (or five (5) years of additional SA experience may be substituted).
  • Minimum certification of IAT Level II (SEC+, CCNA).
  • Strong Linux administration experience, including configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting, etc.
  • Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
  • Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
  • Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff.
  • Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph is required.

Responsibilities
