About The Position

MAXISIQ is seeking a Linux Admin/Test Engineer to support critical national cyber mission objectives as part of its frontline operational team in Hanover, Maryland. The role performs Tier II and III testing, troubleshooting, and analysis of critical DoD cyber operational systems, helping test, improve, and evolve a mission-critical cyber operations platform. This is a full-time, onsite position requiring 24/7/365 on-call support and support for bi-monthly after-hours Approved Service Interruptions (ASIs).

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• 8570 IAM II/IAT II certification, such as Security+.
• CompTIA Linux+ certification.
• At least 3 years of executing command-line Linux operations.
• At least 2 years of experience with government contracts.
• Cisco network configuration experience.
• Windows Active Directory experience.
• VMware experience.
• Expertise integrating new and legacy technologies into existing network configurations and test beds.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Container and Docker CLI experience.
• Systems and network troubleshooting skills.
• Proactive approach and ability to independently identify and resolve issues.

Responsibilities

• Perform Tier II and III testing of critical DoD cyber operational systems.
• Troubleshoot and analyze critical DoD cyber operational systems.
• Test, improve, and evolve a mission-critical cyber operations platform.
• Provide 24/7/365 on-call support.
• Support bi-monthly after-hours Approved Service Interruptions (ASIs).
• Independently identify and resolve issues.
