About The Position

This role requires strong Linux administration experience, including configuring, patching, monitoring, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse teams to resolve issues, and possess the ability to create, debug, and implement automation scripts using Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible. The position also involves mentoring junior staff, a self-motivated attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies, and strong communication skills to articulate issues to team members and service owners.

Requirements

• Strong Linux administration experience (configuring, patching, monitoring, troubleshooting).
• Experience working with diverse teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Experience creating, debugging, and implementing Bash, Python, Puppet, and/or Ansible automation scripts.
• Ability to work in a team and mentor junior staff.
• Self-motivated and willing to learn new technologies.
• Ability to communicate issues with team members and/or service owners.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with AWS, specifically EC2 Auto Scaling.
• Experience with aws-cli and boto3.
