About The Position

This is a full-time position operating on a night shift with 12-hour shifts, following a rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next. The role involves overseeing and maintaining the continuous and efficient operation of lining machines, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with Quality Control on product specifications. Responsibilities include maintaining detailed records of productivity, downtime, and scrap, performing process and maintenance work, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the production area. The position also requires compliance with food safety procedures and reporting any potential failures that could impact product safety.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 + years of related experience preferred
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 pounds frequently.
  • Close vision abilities.
  • Ability to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear regularly.
  • Ability to stand and walk on concrete frequently.
  • Ability to reach with hands and arms occasionally.
  • Ability to stoop, bend or twist occasionally.
  • Ability to push, pull, and/or move materials occasionally.
  • Ability to comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures.
  • Ability to report any product or process failures that could impact food safety.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain continuous and efficient operation of lining machines.
  • Troubleshoot problems on the line and work with QC on quality issues.
  • Maintain records of productivity, problems, down time, machine cycles, scrap, etc.
  • Perform process/maintenance work and complete paperwork.
  • Perform visual inspections on all machines to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Report problems to Quality Control.
  • Contact maintenance or tool for repairs or part creation; collaborate with appropriate departments to keep lines running.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping of production area.
  • Oversee and maintain parts organization.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects.
  • Assist with temporary operating of machines.
  • Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and document data correctly at all times.
  • Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to Quality and/or Line/Maintenance Supervision.

  • $1,500.00 Sign on Bonus (Payable after 3 months, 6 months, and one year in $500 increments)
