About The Position

This is a full-time night shift position operating 12-hour shifts, with a rotating schedule of 3 days one week and 4 days the next. The role involves overseeing and maintaining the continuous and efficient operation of lining machines, troubleshooting problems, and collaborating with Quality Control on quality issues. Responsibilities include maintaining records of productivity, problems, downtime, machine cycles, and scrap. The position also requires performing process/maintenance work, completing paperwork, and conducting visual inspections to ensure product specifications are met. The operator will report problems to Quality Control and contact maintenance or tool for repairs or part creation, working with appropriate departments to keep lines running. Maintaining safety and housekeeping of the production area, overseeing parts organization, and performing other related duties or special projects are also key aspects of the role. Additionally, the employee must comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures, document data correctly, and report any product or process failures that could impact food safety to supervision.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1 + years of related experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain continuous and efficient operation of lining machines.
  • Troubleshoot problems on the line and work with QC on quality issues.
  • Maintain records of productivity, problems, down time, machine cycles, scrap, etc.
  • Perform process/maintenance work and complete paperwork.
  • Perform visual inspections on all machines to ensure product meets specifications.
  • Report problems to Quality Control.
  • Contact maintenance or tool for repairs or part creation; collaborate with appropriate departments to keep lines running.
  • Maintain safety and housekeeping of production area.
  • Oversee and maintain parts organization.
  • Perform other related duties or special projects.
  • Assist with temporary operating of machines.
  • Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and document data correctly at all times.
  • Report any product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to Quality and/or Line/Maintenance Supervision.

Benefits

  • $1,500.00 Sign on Bonus (Payable after 3 months, 6 months, and one year in $500 increments)
