About The Position

Xanitos, Inc. is hiring a full-time Linen Technician for the first shift at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The role distributes clean linen to hospital units and departments to ensure supplies are available when needed. The posted pay rate is $15.00 per hour, and the schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED, one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 unless granted a medical or religious exemption.
• Background screening and drug test required.
• Ability to meet the role's physical demands, including standing and walking regularly and frequently lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Deliver clean linen to units and departments.
• Stock linen according to par levels.
• Clean linen delivery carts when required.
• Record the delivery time and quantity of linen delivered.
• Enter delivery information into software.
• Remove soiled linen from units and departments and record the time and location.
• Order linen from the laundry daily.
• Complete paperwork daily.
• Stock and empty scrub dispensing equipment daily.
