About The Position

The Linen Services Worker maintains an orderly and efficient work area, safely handles linen items, and reads, accesses, and interprets linen data. The role operates a handheld scanner and computer, maintains a courteous and professional manner, and resolves fill-rate issues for facilities. The position is full-time in the Atrium Health Pineville Laundry department, with a 40-hour workweek. Schedule options are 12:00 p.m.–8:30 p.m. or 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Able to read and write and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to scan, read, and interpret linen data and access computer files.
• Requires considerable walking and standing, along with stooping, reaching, lifting, pushing, and pulling.
• Must be able to move carts weighing up to 700 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of experience preferred.
