About The Position

The Line Technician operates machines and other manufacturing equipment in a production environment and maintains equipment and components to meet targeted OEE rates. The role performs autonomous maintenance on assigned machines to support effective operation and output. Equipment may include an un-scrambler, filler, case former, case sealer, Hartness case packer, and palletizer/stretch wrapper. The position is at the Harrisonville, Missouri facility. Applicants are placed on the interview list for a job fair on November 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., at the Harrisonville Community Center. The posted shift is a 2-2-3 rotation, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., and the starting wage is $26.98 per hour.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Good oral and written communication skills.
Good organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to interact effectively with employees.

Responsibilities

Support and adhere to plant safety policies and procedures.
Safely operate equipment to meet quality, scheduling, and customer requirements.
Ensure quality standards are met, including verification of materials and components for orders.
Operate equipment according to standard work and participate in machine setup and changeover functions.
Participate in line-performance troubleshooting and problem-solving activities.
Assist with autonomous maintenance functions, including cleaning, inspection, lubrication, and tightening.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying areas of waste.
Use a computer to operate company software and electronic systems.
Operate auxiliary and support equipment.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area in alignment with 5S standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
