About The Position
Jim Click Ford is seeking an experienced, certified or mainline technician to diagnose and repair vehicles in a busy, high-volume service department. The role involves complex mechanical and electrical repairs, advanced diagnostics, manufacturer-specific work, and accurate repair documentation. Technicians are expected to deliver quality repairs, follow dealership procedures, and work collaboratively with service advisors and other technicians. The position offers consistent workflow, flat-rate earning opportunities, Ford training and certifications, modern shop tools and diagnostic equipment, and potential for long-term career advancement.
Requirements
- Previous mainline technician experience.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a flat-rate environment.
- Commitment to quality repairs and customer satisfaction.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns.
- Perform engine, transmission, suspension, brake, and drivability repairs.
- Complete recalls, warranty repairs, and manufacturer-specific services.
- Accurately document repair orders and diagnostic findings.
- Use manufacturer diagnostic tools and service information.
- Follow Hyundai repair standards and dealership procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Collaborate with service advisors and other technicians.
