About The Position
Francis Aviation is a full service FBO offering an array of premier services with two locations in Southern New Mexico. We have the most advanced fleet of ground service equipment in the region and have created a culture based on professionalism and customer focus. We are currently looking for candidates to fill positions as Line Service Techs in Santa Teresa, NM. Under the direction and guidance of the Fixed Base Operations Manager/Supervisor, the Line Service Technician is responsible for a safe, compliant and efficient FBO operation for aircraft fueling, ground handling, facilities and customer service.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Minimum 1yr prior line service technician or ground handling experience strongly preferred.
- Clean driving record and able to pass a background check.
- Skilled in customer service, time management, highly organized self-starter who can multi-task and stay calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Able and open to working evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Fuel aircraft in accordance with industry specifications and quality control standards.
- Operate ground support equipment
- Tow and marshal aircraft.
- Assist pilots with aircraft pre- and post-flight services.
- Direct passengers and flight crews on the ramp area
- Load/unload baggage
- Facilities maintenance and upkeep
- Customer Service and Promotion of Service
