About The Position

Under general supervision, locates and marks collection and distribution facilities and appurtenances associated with water mains, water service lines, gravity collection lines, force mains, and manholes. Provides 360 degree positive response in accordance with the provisions of the South Carolina Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act. Conducts periodic field checks and reports findings to the supervisor. Reports to the assigned Collection and Distribution Field Coordinator.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark water mains, water service lines, gravity collection lines, force mains, manholes, and associated collection and distribution facilities and appurtenances.
• Provide 360 degree positive response in accordance with the South Carolina Underground Utility Damage Prevention Act.
• Conduct periodic field checks and report findings to the supervisor.
