About The Position

This role involves operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to manufacture products. The Line Leader is responsible for meeting production specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. Key tasks include moving, packing, and sorting materials, monitoring output quality, maintaining accurate production records, supporting compliance with regulations, and assisting with machinery maintenance.

Requirements

• Experience operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly or packaging equipment
• Ability to move, pack, and sort raw materials or finished goods
• Skill in monitoring output quality
• Proficiency in administering accurate daily production records
• Understanding of HR regulations, data protection laws, and HSE requirements
• Ability to support machinery maintenance

Responsibilities

• Operating machine tools, chemical processing, assembly or packaging equipment to manufacture products according to production specifications, schedules, volume/ cost/ wastage targets and quality standards
• Moving, packing and sorting of raw materials or finished goods
• Monitoring the quality of output to identify, discard or re-manufacture faulty products
• Administering accurate daily production records as input to manufacturing performance analysis
• Supporting efforts to meet quality standards and ensure compliance with HR regulations, data protection laws and health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements
• Supporting the maintenance of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime
