BOH PM KIMURA LINE COOKS
About The Position
Kimura is hiring two full-time PM line cooks for its fast-paced, high-volume kitchen. The PM shift is approximately 4 PM to 12 AM. Line experience is helpful, but training will be provided. Part-time positions are also available, but weekend availability is required for those positions. PM closing cooks with reliable transportation are preferred. The kitchen team works across the sauté, grill, and ramen stations, with ramen serving as the kitchen's control center. Work also includes preparing for service, cleaning and deep-cleaning according to a day-of-week schedule, receiving vendor orders, and organizing products and prep. The workplace aims to be happy and healthy and seeks team members with a good heart and the right attitude. Starting guaranteed pay is $16. Employees receive a meal each shift and a $20 reimbursement for nonslip shoes. There is room for advancement across the company's three restaurants: Kimura, Il Forno Pizzeria, and Tucker's Italian. The company is currently seeking a lead for one of the other restaurants. Sundays, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and Mother's Day are days off.
