About The Position

Apex Entertainment is hiring experienced Line Cooks for its Syracuse, New York location. Line Cooks are essential members of the kitchen team, preparing high-quality menu items and ensuring each dish meets standards for quality, portion, presentation, and taste. Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in food service, hospitality, or a similar kitchen environment.
• Passion for food, attention to detail, and commitment to high standards.
• Ability to stand for long periods of 8–10 hours.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong multitasking skills in a high-energy setting.
• Weekend and evening availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items to Apex's standards for quality, portion, and presentation.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu and ingredients.
• Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Track product quality and shelf life to reduce waste.
• Complete orders efficiently within designated ticket times.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to support smooth service flow.
• Follow instructions from Kitchen Managers and shift leads.
• Foster a positive and respectful work environment.
• Support team members and adapt to kitchen needs.
• Maintain a strong work ethic and team-first attitude.
