Requirements

• Proven experience as a line cook or similar role in a fast-paced culinary environment
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety standards
• Ability to follow recipes precisely and work efficiently under pressure
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Flexibility to work open and close shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to work independently and remain motivated
• Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
• Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
• Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
• Proven working experience in relevant field
• Helpful with customer service
• Professionalism along with speed and attention to detail

• Culinary certification or relevant training is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service in accordance with established recipes and quality standards
• Assist with setting up the restaurant and employee cafeteria buffet for service
• Prepare sauces, soups, and other dishes under the direction of the Executive Chef
• Support dishwashers and pantry personnel to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Report out-of-stock ingredients or supplies to the Executive Chef promptly
• Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations
• Assist with opening and closing kitchen procedures, including inventory checks and equipment maintenance
• Ensure proper execution of dinner set-up duties and support the team during service
