About The Position

DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago O'Hare – Rosemont is seeking a dependable and motivated PM Line Cook to join our culinary team at BC Bistro & Lounge. If you enjoy working with a team that values quality, consistency, and exceptional guest service, we'd love to meet you. The PM Line Cook is responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality menu items while maintaining Hilton standards for food quality, cleanliness, and safety. This position plays an important role in delivering an outstanding dining experience for hotel guests and local patrons during evening dinner service.
Requirements
- Previous line cook experience in a restaurant, hotel, or high-volume kitchen preferred.
- Knowledge of basic cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Food Handler Certification required.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to standardized recipes and presentation guidelines.
- Set up and stock assigned workstations before each shift.
- Maintain quality, consistency, and proper portion control throughout service.
- Ensure food is prepared safely and served in a timely manner during peak business periods.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and temperature control procedures.
- Properly label, rotate, and store food using FIFO practices.
- Assist with receiving deliveries, stocking inventory, and minimizing food waste.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house team members to ensure seamless service.
- Support banquet and special event food preparation as business needs require.
- Perform opening, closing, and cleaning duties as assigned.
