About The Position
7 Paintings is an immersive seven-course dinner-and-show experience, where each course is themed around a famous painter. We are seeking a precise and composed line cook to execute this program alongside the Sous Chef who leads it. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on detail, timing, and the theater of a plated show.
Requirements
- Fine dining and banquet experience strongly preferred
- Strong culinary talent
- Sharp attention to detail and the discipline to repeat it flawlessly, night after night
- Calm under pressure with strong timing instincts
- Available evenings, seven days a week — shows run on varying nights but always at night
Responsibilities
- Prepare mise en place accurately to recipe specifications
- Organize and execute plating across all seven courses, ensuring every detail lands as designed
- Plate each course with precision and artistry — presentation is the show
- Hold exacting timing throughout service; the pace is choreographed
- Adapt confidently to last-minute dietary restrictions and allergen needs
- Break down station cleanly — properly store leftover mise en place and return all tools
