About The Position

Jim 'N Nick's is hiring a Line Cook for a new restaurant opening in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The role involves working a station during busy service, cooking to specification, plating dishes, following recipes and procedures, and keeping the station clean and stocked. Line experience is helpful but not required; training in the JNN way is provided. The position is hands-on and high-energy in a live kitchen and stockroom environment, with advancement opportunities from the line to pitmaster, kitchen manager, and beyond.

Requirements

• Remain steady and effective when tickets stack up.
• Use good judgment and take pride in the quality of food sent out.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, including 8 or more hours per day.
• Lift up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, reach, climb, and operate equipment as part of the role.

Nice To Haves

• Prior line-cook experience; it is helpful but not required.
