About The Position
Jim 'N Nick's Community Bar-B-Q is hiring a Dishwasher for a new restaurant opening in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee. The role keeps dishes, utensils, and smallwares moving through the dish machine and back to the kitchen line, maintains clean and safe dish-pit and kitchen-floor areas, and assists the team wherever needed. No experience is required; the company notes that some cooks and managers started in this role. The position is hands-on and high-energy, with extended periods of standing and walking in a live kitchen and stock-room environment.
Requirements
- Reliable and hardworking, with pride in doing the job well.
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods, including 8 or more hours a day.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Able to bend, reach, and climb.
- No experience required.
Responsibilities
- Move dishes, utensils, and smallwares through the dish machine and return them to the line.
- Keep the dish pit and kitchen floors clean and safe.
- Help wherever the team needs assistance.
- Operate equipment as part of the role.
