About The Position

The Line Cook prepares and cooks food items in accordance with company quality and service standards. This role coordinates orders to ensure food is cooked accurately and on time, and requires knowledge of menu items and recipe ingredients. The Line Cook ensures food temperatures are appropriate for each menu item and works effectively in a fast-paced, fluid kitchen environment. The position calls for teamwork, sound judgment, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Employees are expected to demonstrate good manners, proper personal hygiene, a positive attitude, and promptness. The position is based at LSF Burlington LLC in Burlington, Massachusetts. Requirements

At least 2 years of experience in a high-volume restaurant setting.
Culinary background and knife skills.
Cooking skills in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Strong understanding of food safety and handling procedures.
Ability to perform under pressure.
Ability to take direction and delegate effectively.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
Good judgment and ability to work well on a team.
