About The Position
Chili's Heart of House Team Members help set the pace for a great shift by providing dependable, fast service. The Line Cook prepares food by following recipe procedures, keeps the kitchen clean and safe, and helps ensure orders flow continuously from the kitchen. The role calls for teamwork and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
