About The Position
Bishop Gadsden is hiring a Full-Time Line Cook to join their exceptional independent living culinary team. Located on James Island, Bishop Gadsden is a not-for-profit, faith-based retirement community, affiliated with the Episcopal Church, and is known as the Southeast's leading life care retirement community. The role involves preparing and plating hot and cold dishes with creativity and precision in a fast-paced, à la carte environment, while following safety and sanitation standards and maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.
Requirements
- 2+ years of line cook or restaurant experience
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
Nice To Haves
- Culinary degree preferred, but not required
