About The Position

Delaware North's Patina Group is hiring full-time and part-time Line Cooks at Hundredfold American Brasserie in Elmont, New York. The Line Cook prepares dishes according to recipes and the chef's specifications. Hundredfold American Brasserie celebrates warmth, hospitality, and connection, with dishes and guest interactions guided by Chef Timothy Hollingsworth. The role is part of a supportive team serving guests at a prestigious venue.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience as a prep cook or line cook.
Ability to prioritize and complete food orders with speed and precision.
Ability to follow procedures and take directions.
Basic math skills to understand, calculate, and follow recipe measurements and proportions.
No high school diploma or GED is required.
Manual dexterity sufficient to chop, mix, and blend a variety of foods and liquids.
Ability to carry pans weighing up to 50 pounds and operate kitchen equipment.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions constantly.
Ability to work in variable temperatures.

Responsibilities

Properly measure, portion, and cook food items in a timely manner.
Maintain correct food temperatures and store food safely.
Perform opening, closing, and side work according to proper guidelines.
Keep the workstation and equipment clean, organized, and sufficiently stocked.
Follow waste-control guidelines and record waste on the spoilage sheet.
