About The Position
Line Cooks are members of Chili’s Heart of House team, responsible for helping set the pace for a great shift and providing dependable, fast service. They prepare food according to company recipes and procedures, keep the kitchen clean and safe, communicate with teammates, and keep orders moving continuously from the kitchen. The role calls for a friendly, caring demeanor and the ability to work quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position is preferred.
Requirements
- Friendly, warm, and caring demeanor with Team Members.
- Ability to think and act quickly in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Ability to use slicers, mixers, grinders, food processors, and similar equipment.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience in a similar food and beverage service and preparation position.
Responsibilities
- Learn and execute all recipe procedures properly.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Communicate ticket times to Team Members.
- Keep food orders flowing continuously from the kitchen.
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and welcoming environment.
