About The Position
Highland Springs by Erickson Senior Living is seeking Line Cooks to join their growing dining team. This role involves preparing meals and menu items in a chef-inspired, scratch kitchen environment, focusing on quality, teamwork, and culinary excellence. The community offers a better quality of life with most team members finishing their shifts by 8:30 PM.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year cook-to-order experience in a full-service kitchen.
- Weekend and holiday availability.
- Passion for scratch cooking and working in a team-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Consistently prepare all meals and menu items following proper safety and cooking techniques.
- Ensure accurate portioning, plating, temperature, and presentation of meals.
- Utilize culinary skills to create high-quality dishes that enhance resident satisfaction.
- Keep the kitchen and workstation clean and sanitized at all times.
- Prepare and cook menu items using proper techniques, recipes, and food safety standards.
- Execute cook-to-order meals with consistent quality, portioning, and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
- Work side-by-side with fellow cooks, sous chefs, and culinary leadership during service.
- Contribute to a dining experience that keeps residents coming.
