About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Line Cooks prepare food that keeps Guests coming back. The role requires knowledge of ingredients, food quality standards, prep and spec recipes, operational standards, equipment, and utensils, along with a commitment to safety, sanitation, and a consistent Guest experience. The Line Cook prepares and cooks menu items to recipe standards, maintains a clean and stocked station, operates kitchen equipment safely, and works with the service team to ensure accurate, fresh, and timely food delivery. The position may include opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned.

Requirements

At least 6 months of Line Cook and/or Prep Cook experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Food Handlers Certification, as required.
Comply with company uniform standards.
Teamwork and attention to detail.
Ability to work under pressure.
Ability to communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities

Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
Prep and cook menu items according to recipe standards.
Help minimize food waste through proper portioning, monitoring ticket errors, and communicating with expo.
Partner with the service team to ensure food is accurate, fresh, and delivered in a timely manner.
Follow company and health department food safety procedures.
Operate kitchen equipment properly and safely.
Maintain a clean and stocked station before, during, and after each shift.
Perform opening, mid-day, or closing duties as assigned.
Help create a memorable Guest experience.
