About The Position
Penguin Random House is seeking quality workers for part-time warehouse positions at its state-of-the-art national fulfillment center in Reno, Nevada. These roles are crucial for meeting and exceeding customer expectations by picking, packing, and shipping approximately 1.2 million books daily. The positions offer flexible scheduling through a smartphone app, with eight-hour shifts available. Hours are not to exceed 16 hours per week. Proficiency in using a smartphone is required.
Requirements
- Requires basic reading and math skills
- Must be able to push, pull, bend, stoop, reach and lift up to twenty-five (25) pounds on a regular basis, Occasionally lift up to thirty-five (35) pounds.
- Must be able to stand for an entire shift (minimal breaks provided)
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Proficiency in the use of a smart phone.
Responsibilities
- Pick and pack customer book orders.
