Light Maintenance Laborer Supervisor
About The Position
As a Light Maintenance Laborer Supervisor, you will be an integral part of our team, helping us deliver on our promise of excellence, and serving others by delighting people for all of life's celebrations. As a Light Maintenance Laborer Supervisor you will work directly with our management and maintenance teams to keep our facilities clean and organized. You will directly supervise the activities of our maintenance team. You will assist in interviewing, hiring, and training new employees. You will plan, assign and direct the work of the maintenance team. In addition, you will schedule the maintenance team, appraise performance, address complaints, and resolve problems.
Requirements
- thrive in a fast-paced and physical environment
- able to frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds
- able to stand on their feet and walk for 8 hours a day
- read and speak English
- strong communication skills and organizational skills
- able to work a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends
Responsibilities
- Sweep and remove large amounts of debris from production departments, coolers, and bays
- Empty 96-gal bins and operate a hi-lo to transport large loads of refuse
- Assist in landscaping grounds by removing weeds, and disposing of leaves and snow when needed
- Stock shelves with inventory items
- Assists other departments with general labor as needed
- Supervise and direct the activities of maintenance team
- Set work schedules
