About The Position
Join our dynamic team in Orlando, FL as a Light Industrial - Inventory/Materials Assistant supporting our IT&E aerospace program. As a Requisition/Inventory/Materials Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring timely procurement and delivery of critical engineering components. Thrive in a fast-paced environment where your organizational skills and attention to detail directly support high-impact aerospace projects.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in requisition, inventory management, or related field
- At least 2 years purchasing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Excellent manual and clerical skills
- Strong organizational abilities and capacity to prioritize multiple tasks
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Experience in aerospace or engineering environments
- Advanced knowledge of procurement processes
- Familiarity with supply chain software
Responsibilities
- Submit accurate requisitions and procurement requests for engineering parts and supplies
- Track and document approval processes, order placements, and goods receipt status
- Maintain and report metrics for inventory status and resolve build shortages
- Monitor lead times and collaborate closely with buyers to expedite long lead items and address late shipments
- Support build/integration schedule monitoring and manage instrument property as needed
